Invitation to Become a Supporter of Setsuo Kano
The works of Setsuo Kano embody not only the visible “finished form,”
but also the philosophy of Japanese aesthetics and the time he has cultivated throughout his life.
His practice is not an attempt to explain the idea of impermanence,
but to give it form so that it can be quietly experienced by the viewer.
Listening to unseen time and memory, to presences not yet formed into words,
and bringing them gently into reality —
this long journey of exploration has now reached an important turning point.
We have therefore decided to establish a Supporter Program
for those who resonate with the philosophy behind his work
and wish to continuously support both the artist and his creations.
Supporters will receive exclusive updates about the works, exhibitions, and the artist,
preferential access when considering the purchase of original works and Yohen (Fragments),
and opportunities for ongoing connection through exhibitions and related events.
This program is not intended for scale or expansion.
It is an initiative to build long-term relationships
with those who share the spirit of Setsuo Kano’s work
and wish to walk alongside its continuing journey.
